The Panzer III J type followed the J type, and had a basic armor thickness increased to 5cm at the front of the hull. Initially, the J type was equipped with a short-barreled 42-caliber gun, but after December 1941, it was equipped with a long-barreled 60-caliber gun.

This model kit from Das Werk expresses precise details at a powerful 1/16 scale! The tracks and suspension are both movable; the kit can be assembled as any one of the three types. Decals and photo-etched parts are included; twp types of metal barrels (long and short) are included as part of the first production of this kit (these items are only included with the first production of this kit; if yours does not include them, it was not part of the first production). Figures are not included.
